Join us
for the Trip of a Lifetime!
Machu Picchu and
The Galapagos Islands Adventure
August 2011

Are You Looking for the Trip of a
Lifetime?
Do you
want a once-in-a-lifetime experience? One
that you can look back upon years from now
and proudly share tales of excitement,
discovery and enchantment?
We
know how you feel. Every high achiever
understands the importance of exploring new
frontiers.
That's why
we (Ruben Gonzalez and Greg Reid) make it a
point to embark on new adventures every
year.
Three years ago it was the
Olympic bobsled adventure. Two years ago it
was Running with the Bulls in Pamplona. In 2010 we reached
new heights when we climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro.
In 2011 we will thoroughly explore two
magical places we all read about in grade
school... Machu Picchu, the lost city of the
Incas, and the Galapagos Islands!

Adventure with First Class Luxury Service
It will be amazing! A truly luxury
adventure where you will be treated like Kings and Queens!
We'll fly to Lima, Peru and go to
Cuzco, the ancient capital of the Inca
Empire and the oldest city in the Western
Hemisphere.

In Cuzco, we will stay in a
magnificent monastery built in 1595, the perfect base
from which to discover the Inca Sacred
Valley.

After touring Cuzco, we'll take one
of the world's most luxurious trains, the
Hiram Bingham Orient Express to Machu
Picchu, the lost city of the Incas.

Then we'll take the Orient Express
back to Cuzco and fly to Quito, Ecuador.

We'll spend a day touring Quito, the
capital of Ecuador, then fly to Galapagos
where we will explore the different islands
from our own private yacht.
We will
eat breakfast on the boat, explore-hike different
islands every morning, come back to the
yacht for lunch, then spend the
afternoons snorkeling and diving to explore
the animal life around each island.
The
whole time we will have expert naturalists
teaching us the mysteries of Galapagos'
wildlife.

Mark your
calendar - August 15 - 28, 2011
You will have the adventure of a
lifetime but you will also be pampered.
Accommodations in our private yacht will be
in luxury suites. All cabins are
spacious and feature private bath/showers
and air-conditioning.
In fact, our
yacht is very similar to the one in the
Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis movie, "Some
Like it Hot."

Join us in the
Galapagos Islands
The
Galapagos islands are a fascinating
microcosm of our planet and home to some of
the most astonishing creatures found
anywhere on Earth. Iguanas swim the sea like
dragons, short-eared owls stalk petrels by
day and 500 pound giant tortoises bellow
over lava fields...
You will get to do something that everyone
should do at least once in their lifetime -
to see the amazing animals of the Galapagos
Islands - a powerful experience
that will impact you in a deep and lasting
way.

The Islands of the Tortoises
Early explorers called these fascinating islands "The Enchanted Isles,"
but in time they became known as
"Galapagos," "The Islands of the Tortoises."
Wildlife has found the most enterprising
ways to survive on this restless volcanic
outpost.

Unlike Any
other Place on Earth
Against a backdrop of
smoldering volcanoes, brittle lava fields,
fields of giant cactus and wave-pounded
shores, you'll see blue-footed boobies
plunge-diving into treacherous waters,
sea lions surfing, the beautiful courtship
dance of the waved albatross, Darwin's
finches as crafty tool-users and hawks
hunting marine iguanas.
And of course the
world famous Giant Turtles.

Variety is the
Spice of Life!
Thirteen islands - each island has its
own character. Some are covered in forests
concealing life. Others are smoldering
volcanic giants - rugged and austere.
It's a mysterious prehistoric world. A
volcanic hotspot rising out of the ocean. It
consistently simmers even beneath the waves.
The only rivers are rivers of lava.
Four major sea currents converge in the
Galapagos resulting in an extraordinary
diversity of marine life - over 500 species
of fish.
Only in the
Galapagos you can snorkel with a penguin on
the Equator and, on the same day, swim with
a sea lion in a secluded bay or go
eye-to-eye with a flightless sea bird.

The Animals
are Fearless
The islands' isolation from the mainland
means that many animals have no natural
predators, therefore their apparent
fearlessness. Around the Galapagos, where
cold and warm waters intermingle, fur seals,
sea turtles, dolphins, whales, and
hammerhead sharks
thrive, unafraid of human predators.
You'll enjoy the crazy courtship dance of
blue-footed boobies, watch puffed-up,
crimson-throated frigate birds show off for
their mates, gaze, awestruck, at hundreds of
waved albatrosses and ponder the world's
pinkest flamingos. Marvel at marine iguanas,
lava lizards, and masked boobies.
Scientists are still faced with a mystery how
such a large diversity of species could
develop in a remote location like the
Galapagos Islands.

The Galapagos Islands will Touch
Your Heart
The Galapagos Islands won't leave
you untouched. Travel with us and have the
journey of your lifetime amidst playful
seals, elegant albatrosses, fiery red Sally
Light-foot Crabs, and sneaky Frigate birds.

They will Make You Think Differently
The Galápagos Islands may
inspire you to think differently about the
world. Nowhere else can you engage in a
staring contest with wild animals and lose.
The
creatures that call the islands home act as
if humans are nothing more than slightly
annoying paparazzi.

A Magical Place You will Never
Forget
If
you are a nature and wildlife lover
Galapagos islands is a place not to be
missed.
Truly a trip of a lifetime.

known as Darwin finches).. and the list goes
on.

ride the bow wave. After dark, stargazing carries you
beyond Earth's surface.
